Only grandmother I had was my mother's stepmother.

I stayed with her to finish my last year of high school.She was a worker! She taught me about gathering wild edible greens so every spring I think of her and all the places we walked.

My paternal grandmother died the same day she gave birth to my father and my mother's biological mother passed when my mother was a toddler.
