As a kid, our whole family would go out into the country where orchards were. Usually there'd be a black walnut right next to the highway and we'd stop and pick them.

After we got home, mom would make fudge and put the black walnuts in. Dad would always hull them while she was cooking the fudge. That was the best dang fudge ever.

I now buy from Nutstop.com. I get a bag of almonds for all my family as an extra little Christmas Present. I'll get cashews for Rene'.
