Even in kindergarten I was the one caring for others..there was a neighbor boy who had trouble adjusting and I looked out for him..when first grade came along we went to different schools and he had a terrible time adjusting. They determined that he missed me..of course, I was unaware of all this, I was told about it later...
I didn't hate school but in the first 2 years, I didn't like leaving my mom..
