Did I tell you Hb fell and broke his hip? Hairline fracture. Kathy has decided he needs bedrest for 8-12 weeks. When I had compression fractures in my spine they insisted I get up and move. They said to lay in bed is the worst thing. But Kathy knows everything.

There was a nurse that was yelling at Lloyd. The last time I visited him, she and I met in the hall and we had it out. It turned into a screaming match. She yelled that I was a bully and she would have nothing more to do with me. I screamed at her's "You will NOT abuse my husband! YOU WILL NOT ABUSE MY HUSBAND!!!" Everyone at the nursing station was turning around and looking. I'm surprised they didn't escort me out. I know the nurses who work under her hate her guts. They bristle when she's around.

I was so angry that I reported her to some kind of ombudsman that I saw on a sign the nursing home had hanging on the nursing home wall in the lobby. I had the times and dates that this woman yelled at him. SIX instances. They sent some guy out the next day to interview Hb. When he was done, he told Lloyd that he did good. I don't know what this guy did but this woman hasn't yelled at him since.

Kathy has me blocked on hbs phone so I started using *6 in front of the phone number to hide my number. That worked for a while but Kathy got wise to that and blocked that number.

Now I can't talk to hb unless he calls me. Kathy says she will take the phone away saying I am causing him mental distress. She is furious that she must write me a support check each month. So I reported her, too. They never get back in touch with you so you don't know what's happening.

We got the house insured for now. Who knows what will happen next. So here we are...baby steps. Some forward, some back.
