Every year in October, go or call your Local Office of "Agency on Aging" and apply to the MIPPA Program and you can go in person or have an over the phone interview
This program will help you with your Supplemental Health Insurance and Prescriptions
When you speak with a SHIP Rep, let them know that you are on Medicare and Medicaid and you give them a detailed list of your Prescriptions.
You would maybe pay nothing at all for your Supplemental Health Insurance and Prescriptions or a Small Copay for each of them
The MIPPA Program is Income Based and you should not have to pay anything at all.
The very 1st. time that you would apply to MIPPA Program, they take a Medicare Payment from your Social Security Check and give you a Temp Prescription Card
The very next month, the money taken out of the S.S. Check is added back in
and that money is never taken out of your check ever again and you just continue to keep applying every year to the MIPPA Program
What you might of paid for your own Medicare Supplemental Insurance coverage, now that extra money goes back into your pocket every month.
The MIPPA Program helps anyone on their Disability Social Security or their Retired Social Security and the program was signed into Law by President Obama in 2010.
