Weeeeell...I met with the lawyer. I was impressed with her. She was a very assertive no nonsense perdon. We went through a form I filled out where I told her all the personal info. I told her All the things Kathy was doing and she listened. She had questions. And she called Kathy. She told her that her Lawyer made basic mistakes on the POA. She said a new POA was needed. Kathy said she wanted to continue being her Dad's POA. Lawyer said OK but SHE would write the POA. Kathy's voice was shaking like she was ready to cry. She was dealing with someone who wasn't going to take her bullsh*t. She told her she wanted to meet with Hb and wanted him to sign over his half of the house to me so I would be on the house deed by myself. She also said she would word the new POA so I can keep all the household things and my paintings. She also said she wanted spousal support for me because Hb got so much SS and pension and I got so little. Kathy meekly agreed...
