Our neighbours who own a vintage store, I hate to call it a junk store because it's better stuff, but they came this morning to look at some of our belongings. They offered me cash and started carting stuff out. They took my cuckoo clock, my Crystal ball, a carved Angel head with wings that was above our doorway, my old SIR cameras. An Irish setter metal door stop, ceramic dishes, coins, jewelry and will be back for my full size carousel horse later.

It was weird seeing them walk away with parts of my life, but the sewer bill needs paid. I am learning that nothing is really yours. It is just given to you for a while.
