Flo we never deep fried our frys either, we always baked them.

Lucie, Wis is the cheese state and deep fried cheese curds are sold in a lot of restaurants here as starters and almost all bars sell them. If they are done right, they're not too oily and they taste delicious. They're also very filling.

Personally i like the beer batter deep fried curds instead of the breaded ones.
