4 large potatoes
2 tablespoons butter
¼ cup milk
Salt to taste
Pepper to taste
1 cup breadcrumbs
Oil for frying
Peel and boil the potatoes until tender.
Mash the potatoes with butter, milk, salt, and pepper.
Form the mashed potatoes into fry shapes.
Roll each fry in breadcrumbs.
Heat oil in a pan and fry the potato fries until golden and crispy.
Drain on paper towels and serve hot.
Notes
For extra flavor, add garlic powder or herbs to the mashed potatoes.
Serve with your favorite dipping sauce.
