I have a Consumer cellular phone and use their network which is ATT in Wis but in some states they use Verizon. I pay $20 a month for their service, another $5 for 500MB for texting and the phone I went with last year is a Moto 5G 2023 which will cost me $16 a month for two years, once I have the phone paid off my bill will go down to $25 plus taxes which comes to around $29 for me but each state taxes are different.
What I like about Consumer Cellular is that their cs is in the US, though I haven't used them yet but a friend has and she's had no problem with them. I have used their online chat feature which made it very easy to ask questions and get helpful answers that applied to me, not just a generalized answer.
You can order through them online or if you have a Target store anywhere near you, you can go in and buy the phone and have them set it up.
Because of where you live, your service for any phone will depend on which network towers are near you.
