I live in a town with a population of around 20,000 and we really don't have Uber or Lyft here because not enough people use it to make it worth it for the drivers. We do have a few drivers in town but they head out to the big cities in Minn in order to make some money.

Last year our city finally set up a Taxi ride share program that's being partially funded by the covid money each state recieved back in 2021 ? so the taxi share probably won't last more than a year.

With the ride share, seniors pay $2 per trip to go anywhere within a 5 mile radius which basically covers my whole town. It doesn't help with getting to appointment in our neighboring state, of Minn where most go for doctor appointments.
