I used to make an orange slice cake every year for my dad. He passed a few years ago and I decided to make one for us this year. Have all the dates, orange sliced candy and coconut all mixed and will make batter a little later when oven is free and bake it off. When it is done you poke holes in top and drizzle orange juice and powdered sugar mixed. It is an awesome cake. Looking forward to getting it finished and stored for Christmas.
