Mercedes Sprinter 2.2 2010 - Codes P0101 MAF fault P2463 Soot content #

Year of Manufacture *: 2010
Engine Size and Code *: 2.2
( Optional ) Scanner Used: snap on kts
( Optional) Fault Codes: P0101 and P2463

Has two codes one for air flow and other for soot conrent you can clear codes and the air flow will always stay in have chaned sensor and checked all feeds to it all look ok, also it will have the eml flashing as well the customer has driven it with this on saying power is down. I cant understand why the air flow will not clear i have checked for adaptions and reprogram of sensor after fittng new one and there is nothing on Bosch Snap on or Delphi. Help would be appreciated please as im a bit stumped at the min. PS even when you try to clear codes the air flow always stuck in and eml will flash thanks Steve

Hello Stephen,
Did you scope the old MAF before changing it?
Also really check wiring very carefully and the plug as these are often removed incorrectly when the air filter box is removed.

Is the replacement MAF genuine?

I'm sure last time I did one there was an option in Snap-On to carry out adaptations of maybe special functions, can't remember now

What version software are you on?

I second Kevins post you need a STAR to adapt the new MAF,

i have been there with this problem.

Did one a while ago, I think it's the lambda additions that need to be reset, also turned out to have an air leak, which had caused the MAF fault. so not so much as a MAF fault but the adaption that was out of range.

also launch can do adaptation after replacing MAF, not only with Star. I've done it. Regards
