Any Diesel injector leak off measurement #

Year of Manufacture *: ANY
Engine Size and Code *: ANY
( Optional) Fault Codes: Non

Is there a rule of thumb with diesel injector leak off measurements?

I have come across vehicles with what I would call extreme differences & very unbalanced leak off but run great with no issues or faults!!!

I know some systems cannot be tested with this method due to high leak off pressure return.

It would be nice to know how to identify system that can be tested & cannot & what rule of thumbs there is if there is such a thing.

I always use 30% either way.

hi peter we have an injector test bench and the machine also checks for internal back leakage,you may not have high back leakage back to the fuel tank but the injectors could still fail.terry
