Renault Scenic 1.5 dCi 2005 - Non start, code 770? - Fixed #

Year of Manufacture *: 2005
Engine Size and Code *: 1.5 dci
( Optional ) ECU Type: delphi
( Optional ) Scanner Used: modis
( Optional) Fault Codes: Renault 707

Hi lads

Just wondering if anyone could give me a description of Renault fault code 770, I have non start and injection fault that will not clear.

I cant find any info on it, no codes using EOBD, just need a pointer of where to start testing, all earths seem fine, battery fully charged but I have no signal to the starter.

I appreciate that its not a lot of help, but can Snap-on not help?

Is it a DF code?

Thanks for that,will try snap on, I remember someone having some way of translating codes on this forum, no DF before the code.

Hi

770 Is sensor feed voltage below min.

Unplug ac pressure stat- u can get long screwdriver thru lower grille on osf.

If that doesnt help unplug Egr

Had both these cause that fault code.

Hi all,
Sorry for the delay getting back to this post.
This car is fixed and gone.
Mark was bang on the money with the A/C pressure shorting out, i disconnected the sensor and the car fired up straight away and has been fine since.
The customer doesn't want the sensor replaced, she is happy to live without air con.

Nice to see a fix. Just to clarify, the code was 770, not 707 as in the title & in the first post? Maybe admin can change this (might help someone out in the future).
