Hi all long time since I have posted on here, I like my Jags and I am faced with a Peugeot 207, question I went out to a 2008 207 1.6 hdi on Saturday non start. It has had a clutch fitted by the garage it is with. After that no start. Main dealer fitted and configed a BSI. Main dealer then told them that ECM and ABS module were both u/s and could be more units down so car was scrap. They have obtained second hand units and I have fitted them.
ABS ok I have configured to car tyre size engine etc and that has coms however engine does not appear to be talking to BSI or each other. I have coms I have coded keys and Peugeot Planet reports back that code in BSI and ECM is the same but no crank. Have checked starter all ok (direct power and turns engine).
The ECM has loads of faults P0181 fuel temp sensor P0048turbo pressure P0034 turbo by pass sol P0047 turbo press P0195 engine oil temp P0196 oil temp & P0162 O2 sensor. They are mainly open circuit to temp sensor fuel temp sensor and turbo by pass I think the fault codes may be to do with software it was reported to drive in to garage ok. I think I need to concentrate on coms/programing first. I have the old ECM that has been returned by ECU testing as not repairable and there is no coms with that. The ECM was purchased by garage from Torqu Tronics in Ireland. They say they partly clear the ECM. Earth leads all checked. Any help with matching the secondhand units is this possible to do ? Has anyone experience of purchasing access to Peugeot site on hourly basis regards Dave
