Isuzu Trooper 3.0 4JX1 2003 - Loss of engine oil pressure - Fixed #

Year of Manufacture *: 2003
Engine Size and Code *: 3.0L 4JX1

We have a Isuzu trooper 3.0L 2003,
it has a loss of engine oil pressure, it will start up and the oil gauge goes up and oil light goes out, on tick over and then the oil pressure gauge drops and the light comes on. If anyone has any ideas please let us know.

floating debris suspended in oil (carbon etc.) blocking strainer, weak oil pressure relief valve, duff oil filter, shagged engine?

Hi

These suffered from cracked oil pick up pipes, but to fair they resulted in total loss of pressure.

On another point, this is a Known problem engine, don't be tempted to get involved with engine strip unless you enjoy loads of grief.

We fixed this problem by fitting a complete engine
