Year of Manufacture *: 2007 Engine Size and Code *: 1.4 tdci durotorque ( Optional ) Scanner Used: solus pro ( Optional) Fault Codes: p0336,p0652,p0191 no pending or freeze frame codes
Car as described in very good condition with 30k miles on the clock. P0652 (sensor reference voltage B circuit low) will appear with the first glitch sometimes but often P0336(crank position sensor circuit range performance) and P0191(fuel rail pressure sensor circuit range or performance)with it.?
Have done 8 mile test drive without any symptoms at all. But when it starts playing up sometimes you get just amber ! with circle around other times it will flash sometimes not? After this starts it occasionally will stop. Most of the time it will restart with no problems other times it wont start at all.
I have had it at idle in the workshop with scanner storing data and when it stops it will cut all sensors at the same time.It can run for hours sometimes before it stops. With live data 2 things worry me one is NO rpm until the moment it starts when you will catch one frame at 240rpm then next its at 840rpm?? The other is while cranking fuel rail pressure will only build about 50 bar straight to 220 at start up..? (no air in the lines)
I have tried crank sensor, inspected all looms and performed wiggle test. Removed battery and replaced all the earth connections undernieth.Removed intake and visually checked all multiplugs and rail connections etc.
The actual eml has never actually came on to my knowledge and eobd thinks everything is fine.
Any ideas welcome. I keep thinking its a wiring issue but wait to be proved wrong.

I havnt managed to scope them as i only have small handheld sealey scope which i aint that good with and cant get near rail pressure sensor when plugged in. Should the crank and cam sensor be seeing battery voltage as they are only seeing 10.3v at moment??
Thanks Mark, I havnt drop tested the loom? How do you suggest i do this? I have been thinking possible internal ecu problem. I believe the wiring loom is good but that is just visual and wiggle test.
Sent car to local diagnostics mechanic down the road as was spending too much time on it and behind with other customers work. Explained what was going on and what i had done and left him with it.
He opened up the ecu which is located in front of the battery to find it full of water and rusted up!!
I guess one of the forum moderators marked this as fixed, i was holding off until i was certain of fix altho i do agree its a extremly unlikely it isnt the problem,
