Opel Vivaro 2.5 CDTi 2006 - No start #
Posted by Dominic Casey on January 5, 2012, 1:12 pm Hi all and happy new year to everyone.I have the above vehicle in the workshop it was brought in on the back of a tow truck.Customer said it just died as he was driving like as if he just turned off the ignition.Usual codes showed up like heater plug circuit/preheating relay circuit, but one caught my attention code 1822 fuel pressure solenoid valve circuit.I noticed the wiring looked brittle and coroded from heat so I investigated.I checked and cleaned the connection and checked the wiring a few ins back into the loom and all seems ok.There are 2 wires a brown and a white. With ign on I'm getting 12.5 volts at the brown wire at the connector but I'm getting 3.5 volts at the white wire. This doesn't seem right surely one should be an earth or is it a switch wire ? Could any one throw any light on this ?
