Year of Manufacture *: 2000
Engine Size and Code *: 1700 izuzu
( Optional ) ECU Type: delphi
( Optional ) Scanner Used: dec 3

Hi

I need to replace engine ecu on this one, pins all broken!, i realise a new one will require coding & have security number & DEC 3 will code in OK, but I have the option of a used ECU

My question is can a used ECU be re-coded or do I have to use original chip from matched key

I'm sure a used ecu can be used but you need the security code off the doner vehicle to I'll double check on op-com wiki for you when I get on a computer instead of my phone

Kevan.

Kieth is asking about the top ecu, it has the immo in it.Hence the programming question.

EDU is the one fitted to the pump.Not Coded in any way

yes i was kevin,fitted used ecu & chip & key reader all done & gone ,one small issue,doner veh had a/c,as a result ecm is looking for compressor & pressure switch signals

,ECM lamp on ,car covered lots of miles & scruffy! & customer happy to drive with lamp on,thanks for help
