Just to back up Tony's statement... I don't have a smoke pro. but my self made smoke producer will not re create the same pressures that a real turbo will create. These tests are often very helpful, but the results need to be judged with a little scepticisms. Imagine the pressures that a turbo imposes on an intake charge system. Does your "Smoke Pro" test the intercooler under similar conditions that it would routinely see? I am not saying that the smoke test is crap. I am just suggesting that the results need to be evaluated & compared to a realistic scenario. What pressure & delivery does the smoke pro generate? Will it expose a weakness in a small "tight" hole in an intercooler hose? Cheers Dave
