Hi Lee. We had one of these that cut out on idle or light load. I am fairly sure that the pump didn't stop running on ours after the engine had started. ??? We checked and it appeared to have too low Primary pressure, Although it was difficult to check as it has various pipes coming from the pump, and if you check one, and restrict the flow, it pumps through the other pipe. ?? we replaced the pump and filter unit as a whole and it cured ours.
