Hi All, Garage sent this one to main dealers and it turned out to be an EGR Valve that caused the non-start and cutting out. Would have thought that it would produce an EGR fault code and have yet to come across a non-start due to an EGR valve. Also what I found strange was that when I went back to it, it produced another fault code relating to fuel pressure sensor as Phil found in an earlier thread. Interestingly also, I found that voltage was being applied to the glow plugs long after the ignition was switched off. Funny things are cars! Thanks for your interest Pete M
