    Colin thanks for the reply,

    Having slept on this made more sense today.

    The extended fault code description on Texa was Fuel pressure check - pressure to high. Thinking logically about this high RPM = high fuel output from pump, but NO fuel demand on overrun indicated that regulator was struggling bleed the pressure off in this peak situation.

    Replaced Regulator on pump, job sorted.

    Would have liked to spend A bit more time comparing before and after Live readings, but just did not have time today. (not mention vehicle belongs to local knacker man so least time spent in it the better)
