    Hi

    35C11 2002 yr MS6.3 ECU common rail

Came in for service + mot

On road test noted Turbo pipe leak, now replaced ( £140 for a rubber pipe ) so thats sorted

Also noted on over run i.e going down hill with throttle released. MIL lamp flashes and wont respond to throttle until rev drop to about 1500 when lamp goes off & normal service resumed. Customer did not report these faults, but confirmed the light had been flashing, so no reason to think it is related to service

Lots of fault codes so cleared & rechecked. Only code to return is 1630 fuel pressure check, pressure to high. (texa)

Texa has a bulletin, saying this code is often logged and can be ignored if running OK. But as we have an issue I guess it is relevant in this case.

I have monitored live data target and actual rail pressure in work shop and no glaring errors. not had chance to take for a run with lap top connected yet, ran out of time.

one other thing to mention this had some dogy fuel through it a few months back, came from a fourcourt, but high proportion kero I think

    Any thoughts on this ?

    Cheers Aidan
