The problem with a 'pressure gauge' is you have to go near it to read the pressure and personally I would not like to be in the vicinity of one connected to a common rail system. No problem if there is no pressure to read but potentially a huge problem if connected to a vehicle which starts up and revs. 0-900bar+ in a second or so--no thanks. Use the reading from the component thats fitted to the rail to safely measure and output pressure information--the rail pressure sensor--it will output an easily read voltage indicating the pressure in the rail and good service information will tell you what pressure that voltage equates to.
