    Hi all
this car sent to us from main dealer saying fuel pump not working. We fitted new high pressure pump with lift pump and no joy. Ok should have looked first maybe but anyway. We renewed the fuel rail pressure sensor with a known good one and still the kts registers zero fuel pressure when cranking. It is bled through and there is fuel at the injectors.
Going to the autodata wiring diagram we have good earths at the ecu and a kind of signal from the rail pressure sensor . checking live feeds we are missing the main feed to the ecu on pin m2 of plug c . this is shown to be fed from a relay and actuated by the multifunction unit. My question is am i right in thinking there should be a live there with ignition on and i have cranked it too. and where is the damn thing? autodata says the engine bay relay plate. is this the box on the n/s inner wing ? i have had it apart and internally it is a circuit board with relays mounted in the board. How can i test this? seems to me that this missing power is why it does not register the fuel pressure anf therefore not firing the injectors. incidentally there are no codes present.
