Re: transit 2.4 DI 2000 yr 75000 miles Archived Message Posted by aidan birley on May 4, 2007, 7:13 pm, in reply to "Re: transit 2.4 DI 2000 yr 75000 miles" Hi Made some progress on this today, slightly better today after oil change, so decided next step was to check the oil pressure, ok at idle, but as soon as revved gauge went to it limit (& broke it ) , put a hydraulic gauge on we have for agy stuff, rev up and pressure goes up to 300 psi & engine starts to misfire. I have removed sump to check valve is in the pump (as ford don't no !! ) & ordered a new pump.
