The customer was driving along the motorway when the Adblue light came on in his car ,advising him he only has a specified mileage left before the car stops. The car is driving perfect apart from the light on the dash.
The fault on the dash says fault in adblue system and not a refill request.The customer says that every time he fills with ad blue he gets approx 15000 km before a refill request and on this occasion he has only traveled approx 6000 km.
I have plugged in vag com and there are no faults in the engine or the Reduction systems.The adblue pump is working and delivering 5000 mbar when the engine is running .I took out the injector and checked it encase the ad blue had crystallized on it.It had not .When it was out I was able to activate the injector using vag com and the injector sprayed perfectly.I also did the SCR quality test ,tank level test using vag com and it was ok.
I am just wondering has anyone seen the fault before or is it a software up date for the dealers.
