Further questioning revealed the owner had one of his workers install a second-hand turbo with no success. Now is the part that I need help with, the turbo installed is vacuumed controlled just like every other Vauxhall, Nissan, Renault vans I've ever seen. But this van doesn't have the turbo boost sensor or the vacuum solenoid which you come to expect on the right hand side of the engine as you look at. Nor is any of the wiring present, its untouched from where they normally branch out from the wiring loom as if it never has these components. It does have the nipple on the manifold for where the boost pressure pipe would go and also a nipple on the vacuum pump for the solenoid valve. I've asked the owner to see the original turbo but they claim its been lost or thrown away. My question finally is did they ever produce a push type turbo for this vehicle using the pressure from the nipple on the manifold? Any suggestions would be great.
Thanks in advance
