Any sign that a pretensioner has fired ? seem to think SRS cut engines on Renaults. you would expect a fault code so doesn't really fit.
what does live data on engine show try and see whats misssin ? among other possibilities just wonder if cam belt may have jump (mud ingress) and lost cam / crank sync
