FIXED.We rigged up a adapter so we could take the car for a good run with our head gasket fluid connected and after driving it for a while the fluid had changed colour so we have the task of removing head.We removed head and sent it off to be tested and skimmed if required, refitted using all new gaskets etc and have been driving it for a few days back and forward to work and all ok now. Thanks for advice Paul
