Anyway, take the throttle body off, and undo the torx screws for the motor cover. You'll find the inside is either full of oil, stripped gears or both!
It's a reasonably common problem.
Earlier versions also had a problem with fuel temperature sensor wiring (passenger side of cylinder head below MAF sensor) breaking, but I think this should have been modified on yours. As the ECU used alternative sources for temperature it would work until the engine got particularly hot, then = LIMP: key off = cleared codes.
