To my surprise when the DPF was refitted and the pressure readings were at new low level at idle and the max pressure also greatly reduced. After adapting and road testing the fault codes cleared and power was restored.
My greatest fear was I had missed a fault that would go on to block the DPF once more. I monitored the pressure sensor output over many road tests. There seems to be no running faults or returning fault codes and the engine runs very well under all conditions.Previously the injectors had been replaced and with good fuel and even compression's and cylinder balance I pushed on.
The idle pressure sensor reading sits at 530 Mv with no pressure registering on my pressure guage. When revved from idle I can read around 2 Psi and 720 Mv. On roadtest the voltage when driven gently is constantly around 600 - 800 Mv rising to 1.2 v when accelerating hard.
I can only conclude that there was a mistake at the cleaners!
I am not happy but have gained valuable experience.
