Year of Manufacture *: 2009
Engine Size and Code *: 3.0, CCWB
( Optional ) ECU Type: Bosch EDC 17CP04/14 UDS
( Optional ) Scanner Used: Bosch KTS, VCDS, DEC, Autocom.
( Optional) Fault Codes: P246300 DPF Overloaded, P200200 DPF Faulty operati
When this process failed I started to try with other tools including VCDS (Vagcom), DEC and a friends Autocom. Unfortunately I have been unable to enable the ECU to relearn and the soot impact level remains at 64 gr despite successfully re-adapting and many road tests at either 2000 or 2500 rpm.
My research for more information has come up short. Ross-Tech mention that some versions of this ECU regenerate statically and others whilst driving.
With this in mind I have also attempted a static regen but a failure message pops up within a couple of seconds of initializing. I do not know if this is because it is not supported or reflects an underlying issue.
Can anyone offer me some advice please. I am hoping that the software is not looking for a lower average pressure than a cleaned DPF can provide and the only cure is an Audi replacement.
Many thanks.
Chris.
