(The previous problem turned out to be a split air hose)
Now I have power loss above 3000 RPM (To the extent that if you hold the gas pedal down the engine will cut completely and need to be restarted)
As long as you keep it below 3000 it drives fine
I only had an hour to look at it yesterday but in this time I was able to establish that...
There are no fault codes logged (Which is strange)
On live data, as far as I can tell, there are no obvious anomalies.
IE
Rail pressure rises with engine revs (And continues to rise with rising revs even as the power is failing)
(Question, what should the pressure/RPM relationship be on one of these??)
Reported airflow seems consistent with RPM
By disconnecting the fuel return pipe, I can establish that there is substantial fuel flow returning to the tank even as the engine dies.
As I write this, My "Gut" is telling me that the pressure is going to high (hence my earlier question) and the ECM is cutting the engine out.
But why no fault code to that effect??
Any helpful hints as to what I should look for when I go back??
