Was wondering if some one could help. I have replaced the throttle body after finding that the old one was damaged but after fitting the new one I cant get the fault code to clear. I also get fault code p0401 egr valve but I can clear it and it stays off for awhile until you go for a run and then it comes back. was hoping to solve the problem with the throttle body first. after testing the new unit and wiring and everything seems ok I contacted the Peugeot dealer and was advised that the throttle body required to be programed in. I tried the truck on a kts and my snappy but I cant program them with that units.
I called the dealer to book van in to get the part programmed but the service manager has refused to carry out the work because they have not fitted the part. Wondered if any one had fitted them before or if they is a way of program the body with out going to the dealer.
