Year of Manufacture *: 2010
Engine Size and Code *: 2.0 DW
( Optional ) Scanner Used: IDS
As it sits with me looking at it, it has an new aftermarket DPF fitted and had 2 new genuine ford pressure sensor's tried aswell.
Every couple of months it will log an engine oil deterioration fault and oil will be above max on dipstick. If driven long enough it will log DPF faults aswell
Looking at numbers on IDS, the pressure sensor is reading high. Gauge on DPF i am getting under 1psi pressure from it so it is clean, Mityvac on pressure sensor it is reading 119psi in live data on IDS with 10psi applied so pressure sensor is over reading, but reads 0psi KOEO!
Wiring has been checked/load tested and all ok and vehicle is on latest version of software, monitoring signal output it reads ok no drop outs etc and goes up steadily with pressure increase.
I am thinking this vehicle has a software glitch and may need to contact Ford but just wondered if anyone on here had any tips? This vehicle has had a TSB carried out to move the sensor above the DPF onto rear prop carrier mounting plate as it is a 4wd version.
Thanks Neil
