Greetings!

Chris, you were correct. After eventually acquiring a wiring diagram it was found that fuse 21 supplied the feed to the components in question had blown. The car started by providing direct feed to the fuel pump and replaced fuse 21. After a short run fuse 21 blew again. Extensive investigation of the loom behind the gear box found it was damaged due to being incorrectly secured after the gear box was replaced. This was repaired and now all is well.
