Hi, we have an Audi A5 2.7d which was filled with petrol and driven until it cut out, customer had fuel drained and refilled with Diesel by a mobile company. They could not get car started after 1 hour of trying!
Recovered to us, I took a sample of fuel and there was still petrol in low pressure at the engine, I've drawn the diesel through but still non start.
Only 11 bar pressure on crank , and 0.6 volts on cranking at rail pressure sensor, even with the pressure regulator earthed out (Solenoid clicks) and fuel getting to injectors .
Voltage on known good vehicle(3 ltr touareg) 1.2 volts at cranking and idle.
Are these pumps very sensitive or has extended cranking created the problem? Difficult to prove
Ive never had problems with misfuels before, always been straightforward.
Any thoughts appreciated
