I purchased the Multiecuscan to deal with this issue since neither my Launch or Multiscan were able to deal with it. (My Upgrade/New-tool policy is to buy them when I need them!)

(I admit that my Launch/Multiscan subscriptions are out of date (And that the "Current" versions may have dealt with this), but both are still up to date for several years after this car was made! so the fact that they could not deal with a basic service function on a popular vehicle represents a Major flaw! Family issues have meant that I have almost ceased trading over the last couple of years so "Unnecessary" expenditure has had to be curtailed. How I might continue in the future is a different matter (See my post in the diagnostics section))

While my "First look" at Multiucuscan is very positive (The data streams are comprehensive and easy to understand) One thing that did puzzle me is that it took several goes to get the "Oil service" function to actually perform the reset.

(Eventually I ran the engine till it had warmed up a bit. Whether this helped or whether the fact that I deleted the fault code after performing the reset before starting the engine I do not know!)
