Like I said, Coms seemed flakey (On the one hand my launch and multiscan are a bit old (As is the software!) but on the other hand this is an 08 vehicle!)

The OBD2 did show an engine degradation code but not the 0521 one.

I expected the engine degradation one since the oil light was flashing but there is also an engine management light on (Which from reading the owners handbook suggests that there is more going on than just the old oil)

In any case My plan is to get the multiecuscan tool and report back on what I find with it.

The really frustrating thing is the lack of info on autodata! This is after all a six year old car! Hardly someghing that came out last month!)
