The pump is making the same noise as other td5`s i have heard. Vehicle came from another garage with a new fuel filter on it (which i have checked for correct fitment of pipes) and a new wiring loom in the head, there was oil in the red multiplug on ecu, cleaned all that off and still same.
It seems as a slight misfire when idling and reving up,will rev up high but takes some time.Fault has gradually been getting worse.
Tests i have done-
Relative compression test..all good.
Checked valve timing.
I have scoped each injector with an amps clamp and they are all the same when idling a reving up.so difference between all 5.
Good quality fuel.
Fuel pressure check (not flow test tho) from pump 4Bar and holds 4 bar when reved,2Bar on return.
Smoked intake system..no leaks
Disconnected and scoped maf sensor, peaks at 4.2 volts..still the same.
Adjusted injector as per spec.
live Data on all scan tools are very poor.
Not much info on testing injectors on these from what i can find. Do not really want to send injectors away due to whenever you seem to send injectors away they always seem to fail etc.
Thanks for reply's
