Thanks for the advice on the ECM multi plug, I gave it a wiggle and it didn't cut out, but as soon as I started to drive it would cut out.
I then removed the ECM multi plug, sprayed it with some contact cleaner and bingo.... perfect.... until I gave it back to the customer, drove ok for a day the started cutting out/non start.
And had come back with these two fault cods
P0403 EGR
p0340 Cam to Crank
A new genuine Cam sensor has been fitted, EGR has been removed cleaned and Mity Vaced and vacuam pipes checked. Good Crank signal when Non start, you can even see the rev counter move! Intake flap checked, smoke tested inlet system.
