Hello Kieth,
I guess you are talking about the plastic inlet manifold flap and motor units. This job is not too bad The only really fiddley bit from memory was the little metal coolant bi-pass pipes get in the way and prevent removal of manifold but if you loosen, but don't remove the banjo bolts ( unless you have 10 way reversable fingers ) you can manipulate to metal pipes enough to remove manifolds. On refitting and before bolting down make sure the flaps are free to move and not pinched. These don't need any adaptations just clear codes.
