Hi

Truck dropped in by RAC with intermittent hard to start and misfire on start up. When this happens clouds of white smoke out of the exhaust. The truck has been with me two days and has only mucked about once briefly and not enough time to diagnose much. I have read codes and no codes are stored. I have looked at live data and nothing is jumping out at me as cause for alarm. I have now connected an amps clamp to the injectors in the hope that I can prove or disprove that the injects at least electrically are working. The thing is the ruddy thing will not play up for me now. My first thought from the symptoms was head gasket but it's not loosing coolant and the system is not pressurising at the moment. Any pointers on this one would be great help.
