Just for completions sake (i.e. Peter e-mailed me ).
The customer did not want me to spend any more time on it so it went on Ebay (wonder who's got it in their workshop now?).
I suspected either a loom or ECU fault but now I'll never know.
I used to lie awake wondering about these sort of problems but now I realise I need to make a living not micro-engineer every sticky job. So I just take something off the customer for my time so far and wave it goodbye with a tear in my eye as it leaves on the back of a lorry .
