The profile at the top of the waveform suggests to me that you are seeing battery voltage being pulled down on cranking, ie cranking compression volt drop. I bet if you scoped battery volts on channel B it would sit nicely on top and follow the same profile.
As suggested a cam/crank waveform comparison is needed.
