There are a wide range of dpf cleaner fluids out there you could use,So far this cleaning method has worked for me,
A dpf emulator will keep the light off but what happens when you have to get your car through a nct!Emmisions could be a problem there i would be thinking!unless you weld on some sort of cat!!
