I expect John is asking , because the function on the carmanscan probably doesn't seem to work, the same as it doesn't on Vtech multiscan. On the X trails, Nissan state that the relearn procedure can be carried out by clearing the codes manually & describes it in their workshop information. I expect it will be the same on the Pathfinder.I managed to reset one the other day after clearing the faults manually a couple of times & you could hear the engine note change when it was done.I know when I demoed a Carman scan lite the other day it seemed to be the exact same software as the multiscan & wouldn't carry out the injector programming, although the function was there.
From memory, you need to switch ignition on , leave for 3 seconds, press the accelerator pedal to the floor & release 5 times(within five seconds), then leasve for 7 seconds, then press & hold down for 10 seconds(or until the engine management light starts to flash), this should then display any codes stored, then press & hold the pedal down again for approx 10 seconds which will clear any codes & falsh 0000 & start the relearn process.
I know that using Nissan Consult, it is just a simple press of the button/function & it is done.
There is a post on the forum with the exact instructions somewhere, but I will check them later.
